The Ruffled Bird Logo

A dear friend of mine approached me to create this logo for the Etsy shop she runs with her mother-in-law. I had been taking calligraphy classes and wanted to incorporate some hand-lettering into the logo to create a sense of movement and to really bring the word "ruffled" to life. The stitching around the border is a nod to the beautifully sewn pieces that The Ruffled Bird sells. This logo was so much fun to work on and it brought me great joy especially because my clients were thrilled with the result!
